1940 Ford Tudor Standard Sedan Condition is Used. This is a re-list from last week. It was set up last time as an auction and did not qiite make the reserve. This time it is set for a fixed price of $17,500.00. Quick history that I know:I just got my hands on the car a few weeks ago. This car was found in Colorado in 2016, it was traded off on a Harley deal and went to Montana for several months where it got new exhausts (loud) and the heads redone. I have the receipts for those items. Then it was traded to my friend here in San Antonio in 2017 again on a Harley deal. Because he is mostly a bike guy and not really a hot rodder it sat in his drive for 3 years until I went up there and did the usual, gas in the carb, air in the tires, fluids, etc. and it fired right up. I have cleaned it up some and checked all the workings of the car. I don't know anything for sure before 2016.Here are some details:All steel, older paint with some acne behind the drivers door above the running board. Nice bumpers, all chrome is there and in good shape . Grill has some surface rust. Body has some rock chips, small dent on front right fender. All in all the paint has that sought after patina of an older build and is pretty cool as is or could be repainted if you want a show quality car. I like it as is.The interior is well done and in nice condition. Chrome glove box lid and ash trays, chrome window trims, SW gauges and tach. Windows are crank not electric.Nice head liner, lap belts.Engine is 350 Chevy with tube headers, Edelbrock carb and intake. It has a bit of a thump to the cam. Trans is TH 350 automatic, rear end is Ford 9" with unknown gear ratio. Trans does have a small leak from somewhere ? Front end is Mustang II tubular A arm rack and pinion steering.Older Vintage A/C, will freeze you out, custom fan shroud and inner fender wells. Power steering, brakes are not power but has front disc and rear drums.Lights work, blinkers work, flashers work, a/c works, tach and all gauges work, wipers are not working.Starts, runs, drives , stops and shifts well.In all a very well built (older build) 1940 Ford. It's a sweet car and you would be hard pressed to find another one or build one for anywhere close to this money.$1000 deposit in 48 hours, please no scams or BS, heard it all, no trades.
