Own a piece of history! The Willys Jeep was the first 4wd vehicle to be mass produced for civilians starting in 1948. This is where 4 wheeling started folks! For sale here is a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A fully restored. The engine and transmission were built by Villas Motor Works in Bryan, TX. The engine runs absolutely great! We have only ran ethanol free fuel since the vehicle mainly lives in storage mode so as to preserve the fuel system. Mechanically this Jeep is a very tight, well oiled machine, that runs like a sewing machine, smooth. The paint has been professionally graded as a very nice paint job for a daily driver. It is not a show quality paint job. Standing from 6-8 feet away, you can "knit pick" the paint job under florescent lighting in the shop looking for blemishes or wear, but from the same distance looking at the vehicle as a whole, she is quite beautiful. This would make a great Ranch Buggy or Hunting Vehicle. Equipped with a winch, LED driving lights, and an amplified stereo system that uses headphone jack for audio linking. The tub was sandblasted and coated with a thick spray on bedliner that has a high gloss UV protective topcoat to retain a new gloss shine. Reason for selling is this vehicle just sits in storage. Need to go to a home where she will get use and be loved. Thanks for your interest! |
