| 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible with the rare D-code 8 cylinder high performance engine available ONLY on the early 1965 Mustangs.This car is an older amateur restoration and is all stock. It still has the single master brake cylinder, the original generator (no-alternators on the Mustangs until later in production), and the original power steering pump.The car has had the transmission rebuilt, the interior restored and the brakes (master cylinder, lines, shoes & drums) all redone in the time that I've owned it. I have owned this car since 1995 and have all the original dealership paperwork from 1964 when it was first sold.The car is a ten footer at the car shows. It gets a lot of complements when driven around town. The car is in good shape for its age and has been ONLY garage kept since I've owned it the past 24+ years.I hate to part with this wonderful vehicle but I am in the process of down sizing (all my kids have moved out) and need to thin my collection.Please ask any questions prior to making any offers or purchasing this outstanding American classic.Thank you for looking... | |
