| RELISTING DUE TO NON PAYING BUYER...1968 Caprice 4dr HT Beautiful mostly original car! Originally bought on 2-22-68 from Jack Morris Chevrolet in Carthage, Missouri. The car spent its entire life in the area until I purchased it. The previous owner says the mileage (74,570) is correct I tend to believe it due to the condition of the car. Although I cannot confirm that. Car has all original sheet metal with minimal rust. It was repainted about 10 years ago a couple years later the vinyl top was removed and the roof painted black. I would rate the paint at a 7 on a scale of 1-10... shines beautifully but is Sunkist. The floor pans are perfect! The trunk pan has a few spots on the pass side that need repaired as does a section of trunk weather strip channel. Lucky for you I have original replacements that can be included. Interior is all original down to the accessory floor mats... The seats do have some tears and stains as you can see from the pictures. Does have a tilt column, remote mirror, vigilite monitoring system (works) AM radio that still works! AC (needs condenser) Heater works flawlessly, Speed warning still buzzes, and the courtesy lights still shine bright ( as do the hood and trunk lights). All glass is in great shape. The fuel gauge does not work. The original 327 still runs great and the TH400 shifts perfectly! To my knowledge the motor has never been rebuilt. It does not smoke. The previous owner used the car as his daily driver and kept up with the mechanicals. Brakes and shocks are newer. The rear tires are brand new. Newer exhaust. I have the protecto-plate and clear title to the car. Is the car perfect? No. I'm not representing it as either. What the car is, is a great cruiser that you can load your family or friends in, turn the key and enjoy!
