The 1967 Camaro we have here at Skyway Classics is not only a great restoration, but it has been changed over into a Yenko 427 Tribute too! Mechanical It is what's inside this 1967 Camaro that counts. The list of performance improvements is long so here we go. The heart of this Camaro is the Calles Dragon Slayer 427 Stroker Motor. It has Wiseco 10-1 compression pistons, Howard hydraulic roller cam and kit, ported Edelbrock Victor Jr, Aluminum heads and high rise intake, with a Quick Fuel 750 carb. More parts include all MSD ignition and coil, a new High Torque starter, aluminum water pump, single wire chrome alternator, aluminum 3 section radiator, and 1 7/8 inch tube headers. Power from the much modified engine passes back to the rebuilt and modified Turbo 400 transmission that has a manual valve body, TCI 2800 stall converter, SFI flex plate, and NOS Shifter, to the new drive shafts and U-joints. The rear end is a GM 8.5 10-bolt Posi unit with new Auburn Posi, 31-spline Moser axles, 3:55 Richmond gears with all new bearings and races, and in the looks department, a Moser Aluminum Girdle Rear End Cover. The chassis has OEM Hydraulic front disc brakes with new rear drums, master cylinder with brake booster, and new brake lines. Interior The interior is mostly stock looking with a new headline and dashpad, new door panels, the original center console, with the stock black front and rear seats looking flawless. The front floor pans were replaced as well as the carpet, steering wheel, and thermal insulation. The dash houses an AM;FM stereo radio system, factory gauges as well as accessory ones on the console too. Exterior The superb Gun Metal Gray paint on the exterior of our 1967 looks great as it should and the new Stinger Cowl Hood with the Yenko emblems looks menacing. All the SS and Yenko badging all over the car will let everyone know not to mess with this beast. It also has new billet grill, front and rear bumpers, door handles, front headlight bezels, and wiper arms and rides on 14x7 Rallye Wheels and BFG Radial tires in the front and 15x8 Rallye Wheels and 255/15 MT Drag radials in the back and has Front and rear spoilers give this Camaro the muscle car feel it deserves. Conclusion Nothing looks more sinister in a SS Camaro than a black paint scheme with the factory front and rear spoilers like the one we have here at Skyway Classics. It has an original look, with a high performance drivetrain, and a great ride and handling. Come see it. You won't be disappointed. So give us a call at 941-254-6608.
