1956 Chevrolet 150 Handyman wagon, 327 with a 350 auto trans ,original rear axle. This is a California built car,NO RUST. It has had 1 repaint to my knowledge 20 plus years ago the door jams and rear tailgate jam have never been painted. It came from California to Iowa where it sat in a sound shop for about 12 years with very little use, and was sold to another gentleman in Iowa. I purchased the car last spring and the following updates were done. Power front disc brakes ( still had original drum brakes) New 500 series power steering box, Ididit tilt column with retro steering wheel ,Edelbrock performer intake and carburetor, valve covers all new fluids in engine,3/4 length ceramic coated headers with new exhaust. Also new 15 and 17 inch American wheels with New Hankook tires. Air recharged. Front wheel alignment I have receipts for the work done and parts. It does have some scratching in the glass mainly in the rear window. The car is not perfect but is 64 years old ! it drives beautifully no rattles or shakes. The car also is a crowd magnet. I also have a 1956 dealers hard covered hand book with the complete specs for all 1956 Chevys. This book is negotiable with or without car purchase. Also to my knowledge it has never been on the market been sold word of mouth. Questions call Rudy 262-497-7142 to discuss. |
