It also came from the factory with CHROME bumpers!This Champagne Westy has been all up and down the West Coast... Originally sold new in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am the 4th owner. I still have the California BLUE license plates and dealer plate frame for the bus.Overall condition is very good for 40+ years old. This bus has never been restored and spent most of it's life in California. I bought it in Santa Barbara, California and drove it home to Seattle. After installing new RV rated light truck tires, we spent several years camping all over Washington, Vancouver B.C., Oregon and Northern California. My kids are older now, and I do not have proper RV storage. Bus has been sitting outside for about a year now. 2nd and 3rd photos were taken within 24 hours of this listing. The rest of the photos are from our adventures...Basically RUST FREE. Floors are solid, inside floors are WHITE (Champagne Edition's had white floors and a brown dash) and rust free. The Battery area has some rust starting, and the only RUST are the bubbles starting around the windshield and some around the back window. Paint is ORIGINAL with some touch up. Pop-Top canvas was new when I bought the bus 5+ years ago. Front seats have been upholstered, the rest is ALL ORIGINAL.Bus runs and drives, but will need some attention from sitting.Sink faucet works, refrigerator works good (control panel and invertor were COMPLETELY rebuilt/restored by VW specialist), 2 burner stove works perfectly. RV hook-ups worked last time we used them.Gas gauge does not work, have some proper wire to rewind the sensor (have to remove engine/bulkhead/gas tank to fix).Fantastic bus to restore, or do some clean up and general maintenance and USE AS IS!!!!!!Will include what you see as well as what I have (service manual, some spare new parts, side canopy, etc).Clear Title.WILL ARRANGE AND PAY FOR OPEN HAULER SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN CONTINENTAL USA WITH "BUY IT NOW" PRICE! | |
