1971 Nova project car being sold AS-IS / WHERE-IS. PLEASE SEE ALL 45 PICS BELOW.. This was my dads car and has been sitting pretty much untouched since he passed back in 03. I put on new fenders a few years back and a used cowl vent grille panel. It stopped getting fuel to the carb (probably rusty/clogged fuel lines) so i hooked up a 2 gallon tank just to put it in the street when i needed the driveway. It starts, runs, moves, & stops decent but in NO way would i consider it road worthy. It has only gone from my driveway to the street and back a few dozen times in the past 16 years. The body has some rust. The worst being the hood, lower quarter panes, the rear tail panel, and the trunk floor. The rest of the car has some small rust but nothing major. the trunk gutters, door jambs, rockers window gutters all look nice. underside looks to be ok as well. i see no rot through the frame rails and the floors look good from what i can see. The interior is rough but not terrible & needs attention. Doors still shut near perfect. Overall a nice car to restore. i just dont know if i will ever get to it and i dont want to see it get any worse. I have a clean transferable registration as NY does not issue titles to vehicles pre1973. |
