This is the real deal not a clone '138' on the vin tag.She has a non factory 396 with a 4 speed Richmond transmission and a Hurst shifter. It rides on an F40 heavy-duty front and rear suspension, with power steering and Wilwood power disc brakes. The car has beautiful original Rally wheels. Trunk compartment is All clean metal with a clean gray and white spatter finish paint. Air bags and coil overs adorn the rear end and Wilwood Disc Brakes in the front. She runs and drives great. Does have a couple of small imperfections. On the front passenger quarter, the lower part of the quarter has some rust starting to show. It's only the outer skin which can easily be replaced. On the rear passenger quarter under the chrome you can see a little bubbling that has started. This car is a blast to drive and turns heads everywhere she goes. I've only owned her a few months and driven here every time the whether has been nice and dry. Please see below from the listing where I bought her in December. Only selling to make room for a new toy. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Chevrolet-Chevelle-SS-396-/264565257805?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=PUaxquuskpWaq9hWzupkRqx5YJs%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc |
