| 1974 VW Karmann Ghia.Pan off restoration, everything was disassembled... soda blasted, epoxy primed, the reassembled, it has new window and door seals hood seals-front and back, Bhia Red paint-original color (4 coats), new wiring harness, tires, interior, brake lines, car had A/C so the A/C under dash vent and blower are included(they don't work- see picture)- A new A/C unit made for these are available from Gilmore Enterprises in Ca. there about $1600.00- send them the blower and dash unit and they will send you back a unit ready to install, a strong 1600 CC with a fresh tune up, runs great, starts every time, doesn't smoke or have any weird noises, good end play, shifts fine, clutch is fine, and all ignition components changed, new ignition switch, new battery, new interior, carpet, headliner, dash, door panels, sun visors, headliner, dash venner, window felts, driver side mirror, starter, EMPI shifter (car comes with original shifter- which makes the car all original). This car is 95% complete- just needs a few finishing cosmetic trims and the warning lights in the gauges hooked up, the speedometer works, needs a brake light switch- the brake lights work off a manual switch at the moment so I could get it on the road (I have the switch)- need windshield wiper harness- needs turn signal relay(I ordered one but it hasn't arrived yet- the car didn't have the harness when I got it- it was a low priority for me as I've used Rain X on all my cars and seldom need windshield wipers -and I live in Florida, ran out of steam and have moved on- to many projects but this one is one of 6 Ghias I've restored in my VW career- along with a dozen other VW.... and most intensive. Other Ghias are listed for $25,000 or more have had this level of restoration- I had plans for this car to be amongst the group but life didn't, it's a deal when compared to others and level of restoration, over $15,000 invested, I've put about 150 miles on it since the rebuild, front bumper has surface rust as seen in the picture, - it's about the last piece I didn't replace when life got busy, original seats and seat belts, has rear folding seat, I have the front and rear window trim for the original type window seals( has California type wind rubbers installed), this is essentially a new car, come see it or I can send you additional pictures, located in Pensacola Florida, licensed and insured driver ready to go, its roadworthy and ready for use as a daily driver. I purchased the car from a custom shop that started the overhaul for a client but the client backed out and they were stuck with the car. They had completely taken it apart, soda blasted the body, applied a epoxy coat, and most of the metal and body work was done, I spent about 6 months putting it back together after having it professionally painted. I have a clean Florida title, always garage kept, The only Paypal I will accept is the initial immediate $1000.00 deposit required upon commitment, if you want to talk about the car call me 850-292-6705. the balance will be due upon pick up, cash, certified check payment method at bank and upon authentication, no shipping available, buyer must arrange their own pick up and delivery method, for a predetermined delivery fee short hauls of a 2 hour drive from Pensacola and I will deliver the car after deposit is made and after car has been paid for, no warranties, sacrifice- I've tried to disclose all the remaining items to be completed on the car in this monologue but upon completion the buyer will end up with a new car.
