You are looking at a very nice, original West Texas Lincoln. Bought new in Odessa, Tx by a gentleman in Snyder, Tx. This is an all original, unrestored car. NOT RUSTY. West Texas is very dry. Obviously kept in a garage. Texas is dry, and HOT! Unless inside, the soft pieces will fail. Not so here. The vinyl top is soft as a baby's bottom. No signs of distress at all. Again, no rust issues around the top trim. All good. The interior looks like could have been installed yesterday. Hardly any wear at all. Even along the edge of driver's seat is nice.Every switch and option works. All windows, seats, radio. The heat and A/C work, however it would work better with R-12 instead of 134-A. But, it works. Cruise control holds nicely. The tires new last year, battery couple weeks ago.The vacuum headlight doors operate as should. Even after 2-3 weeks, they do not loose vacuum. Another sign of being garaged.Been watching these cars on E-bay. I'm not asking for the moon. In respect of the E-bay process, the only way I will end the auction is if you use the "Buy Now" .This is a used, unrestored car. There are a few "scratches and dings" you would expect. The worst of it is in one of the pictures. As best I can tell, your looking at factory paint. I have not sold a car from my collection in a long, long time. Three round of phnemonia and a "mild cardio event" have motivated me to reduce my fleet. Arrangements can easily be made for any pre-purchase inspection. I have tried to describe the car with the best of intentions. Lincoln or hamburger, no one wants to be mislead or cheated. Please ask any questions or have the car checked. Once paid, she's yours. In the past, I get the question: Can I drive home? At this time, there is nothing noticeably wrong. HOWEVER..THIS IS A 43 YEAR OLD CAR! My crystal ball fell off the desk and broke, so I can no longer see into the future. Play it safe. |
