1956 Pontiac Laurentian for sale. Before getting it I hadn't heard of one before but it is very cool. From what I have learned they were built in Canada and came with a chevy motor so I am assuming it is a 265 V8. I have been unable to find any info on this so if anyone knows where to get it, the info would be appreciated and shared. The car runs and drives great with the small block and three speed on the floor. The previous owner added the floor shifter and it works great. I've restored cars for years and although this one looks, runs and drives great it is far from perfect. I would call it a great driver. The paint job is a 10 footer that you could pick apart if you wanted. There is rust on most of the body braces next to the inner rockers. It's taken 64 years to get the rust to this point. I've contemplated redoing the car but decided I would see if anyone wanted just a really cool fun to drive car before I did that because once I get started where do you stop...lol... I call it the snowball effect. It starts small but the more you do the more you find to do so rather than get the snowball rolling I offer it up to someone who would like a reasonably priced cool two door hardtop to drive and enjoy as is. The tires and wheels are brand new as is the door and trunk weatherstrip. The interior is in very good shape with NO rips or tears and minimal wear on the upholstery. The sony stereo works great and I forgot to mention that it also has Flame Throwers on it. Like I said a fun car !! Please feel free to ask questions or give me a call at 316-253-0591 to discuss it.
