Turbo fully operational. When the in-dash manifold gauge reads postive, the car pulls foward smoothly like two extra cylinders kicked in. No need to sync 4 carbs (on the std. Corsa 140 engine) The turbo has one sidedraft carb yet has 40 additional hp.This is the ultimate Corvair. It's also the most desirable, especially in this classic color combination.Original 1965 bill of sale - per Fisher Body trim plate - Factory turbo, ermine white exterior - red interior and factory options listed below.Factory options4-speed transmissionpadded dashdeluxe retractable front seat beltsdeluxe rear seat beltstinted windsheildAM pushbutton radiorear-mounted antennacomfort conv. group- day/night mirror, 2-speed wipers/washersspare tire lock (nos)door edge guards (nos)floor mats (nos)Accessories'64-'66 13" Wire Wheel Covers w/ Bowtie spinnersRt. hand bowtie mirrorTurbocharged 180 front license plateGround-up restoration five years ago - California car bought from a California Classic car dealer (car was on consignment from the owner's widow).Chrome bumpers, door handles, mirrors and wiper blades are flawless and look new, convertible top looks new, interior including dash pad and steering wheel look new, engine / engine compartment looks new, rubber seals & weatherstipping look new. undercarriage was part of the ground-up resto - looks pristine and rust-free. 185/80R13 wsw radial tires are in good condition (new matching spare) . Single repaint. Unrestored but maintained underneath. Engine bay is clean and gotten significant work but not fully restored. Heard it run, and it sounds healthy. Badges aren't quite flush with the body. Good older paint and chrome other than a crack on the left rear fender. Clean, straight top but the rear window is pretty cloudy. Lightly worn but good replacement seat upholstery. Sound original dash. A neat, honest little Corvair in just about the most desirable configuration. Quite good by the standards of these cars, but not really much better than driver quality.EquipmentNotes: Wheel covers, narrow whitewalls, factory radio, Protect-O-Plate.1965 Chevrolet Corvair CorsaConvertible H6 164/180 TSale Price: $33,000 (USD)Includes buyer's premiumDate: 8/18/2016Event: Russo and SteeleLot Number: F432 ADD TO VEHICLE REPORTVehicle Details |
