CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Heres a nice little project that will make someone a nice truck when completed. 1970 Chevy Blazer 4x4. Ive had this Blazer for a few years and haven't really done anything to it other than clean it up. This one is equipped with the CST package, 350 4bbl engine, 4 speed manual transmission, power steering, factory Air Conditioning, in dash tachometer, sport buckets and console. All of which is original to this truck. Its been off the road for close to 20 years. It was a one owner vehicle that lived its life in the dry desert of Wyoming. It has it's share of dents and dings here and there. It's a very rust free K5 though which is nice. The worst of it is behind the rear tires which is an odd spot for these to rust. In front of the rear wheels is in good solid shape, outer rockers have some rust. The floors front to rear are in excellent shape. The picture of the drivers floor is hard to tell the condition. There is no rust through, just surface rust. The drivers door is completely rust free, passenger door has some bubbling in the corner but nothing bad. The rear cargo floor is rust free other than one corner of one of the bolt in wheel tubs. I don't see anything underneath rusted anywhere. Rocker boxes, mounts, fenders are all good. The frame is completely solid and in excellent shape. Windshield frame and cowl is all in excellent rust free condition. The black and tan colored crap all over the rear cargo floor was a rubber backed carpet. I cleaned a lot of it off but theres still more to go. The original carpet and rear side panels were beyond saving and were thrown away. I see absolutely zero evidence of any paint work being done since it left the factory. All original paint on this one. Which is nice, what you see is what you have to work with. Nothing hidden under 4 different layers of paint like so many others. The top is in excellent condition throughout. It doesn't have the nasty sag on top that some get. The hatch is in great shape too. Almost perfect. Also no repairs have been done to either. The only real thing thats missing is the rear seat. I do have the original seatbelts and arm rests for the back seat. The front sport buckets are there as well as the console. The factory AC system is complete and looks untouched. The compressor spins free. The tachometer is on the SPID (build sheet) as well. The engine is all there and complete as well. The radiator upper hose nipple is broke off of the radiator. Thats all I see really wrong under hood. With a battery in the Blazer and fuel dumped done the carb, the engine starts and runs. The fuel tank needs cleaned up before being used. Ive never made any attempt to get this thing up and driving as I'd planned a full restoration of this one. Im selling off a few projects as I just have way to many. Overall this is a great Blazer that hasn't been molested. It;s far from perfect but has good bones and needs a loving home. All vin numbers match throughout as well as the title which is in my name. No warranties, sold as is where is. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs if thats the route the buyer chooses. I know a few good shippers with winches on their trailers. Please feel free to ask questions and ask for more pictures if you'd like. Ive had well over 100 69-72 Blazers in my lifetime and can say that this is definitely a good one to build. Thanks for your time.
