| For sale is this 1964 VW Bug made in Germany that has received a total restoration about 6 years ago before I bought it. Since then I drove it only about 1500 miles for fun. It was always in my garage. During restoration it has been updated with a 1600 dual port engine and a Freeway Flyer Transaxle allowing comfortable 75 MPH cruising on the freeway. The car was stripped to bare metal and painted the original JAVA Green colour. This car was always in Southern California (San Diego area). Besides a small spot in the lower corner of the right door (see picture # 7), the car has absolutely no rust. There are some light scratches on the right rear fender (see picture # 6). Otherwise the car is in- and outside in absolute pristine and original condition. Three weeks ago the car went through inspection: Battery and generator replaced, oil change and valve adjustment.If you are interested in owning a vintage vehicle that you can take to your local car shows and/or use it as a daily or weekend ride, this is one.
