This is a very nice big block 1974 Corvette. I took this on trade in when I sold Mark a 1970 Boss 429. Mark bought this car in 1994 from Pro-Team Corvette sales in Napoleon Ohio. The title says actual 36,289 miles and Mark is very concerned about miles so Im sure those are accurate. He has a 300 plus vehicle car museum that is clean and climate controlled and this car was stored in there from 1994 until I took it on trade in 2000 so it has been there for around 26 years and he has only put 50 miles on it that whole time. The engine compartment was looking a little dull so as part of the deal his shop completely removed the engine (that is the black and white picture I have) and completely restored the engine compartment. A few of the items they did was all new concours bolts and belts, fan clutch, exhaust manifold, master cylinder, new alt and starter, new water pump, new air conditioner unit, all new fluids PS, brakes, anti-freeze, powder coated several items including the headers, rebuilt the original carb, rebuilt kit for the dist, windshield wiper motor, all new brakes. I have all the receipts from the work they did on the engine and not including labor for parts only they spent 5,230.11 and all these receipts come with the car. When I received the car it looked amazing but after sitting for so long I wanted to make sure everything was working correctly and you could just go out and drive and enjoy it. I put 336 miles on the car and counting. I also did have to spend some money on the car. I put in a new battery, I had the AC fully charged and ready to go. I had to take it to a shop by the name of Bromleys corvette so they could tune the car even though all the parts were new they had to be dialed in so it ran at its peak performance. In addition to that they put on all new brake pads and brake calipers. I also had the speedo fixed and several other minor items. By the time I was done I had spent 4,088.15 on parts and labor but now all the odds and ends are done and the car is ready to use. I own a classic car restoration shop called Kevins Klassic cars and we do all top end restorations mostly on Boss 429 Mustangs. I only say that because when rating the paint job I would give it a 9.5 and I dont see anything wrong with it but there is no such thing as a perfect 10 point paint job. The paint looks excellent, the engine compartment looks restored and extremely nice. The interior I would say is an 8.5 out of 10. The seats are leather and look very nice, the carpet is after market and for some reason it looks like they put it over the original carpet but it looks nice. The only gauge that doesnt seem to be working is the clock and I didnt try and fix that. The door panels look nice and the convertible top looks very nice and will last for many years to come. Mechanically it runs well and is very responsive, this is the last year they made a big block corvette and such a big plus the car also being a convertible. The tires all look excellent and have a lot of miles left on them. The exhaust looks to be in excellent condition and like I said before all the wear items on the engine compartment have been replaced and it is very nice. I live in Phoenix AZ for the winter and that is where the car is. I will deliver the car anywhere in the continental USA for one dollar per mile one way on an open trailer. That will just pay for my fuel, food and gas but just to make it easy, the car has to be paid in full before I leave to deliver it. Here are some examples depending on where you live in that city Los Angeles 400,St Paul 1,650, Las Vegas 312, Miami 2,300. All you have to do is Google it and that will tell you how many miles from Phoenix and then you will know the cost. If you are local you can come out and test drive the car, you can send a representative out to look the car over and tell you about it. Let me know I am here to help.
