CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
This is a rare find, it should be in a collection or museum, 1967 Camero, rally sport trim package-but not showing on trim tag, 327 two barrel, auto trans-power glide-column shift, bench/bucket with fold down center armrest, fold down rear seat, a speaker panel has been installed where up right seat is, did not drill or damage, seat folds up correctly-can be easily removed, still has original wheels-tires and spare on the car, stock hub caps-has glue on reflectors that can come off easy, has power steering and standard brakes, drums all around, parked since 1988, I did not want to wash or air blow off the engine as the paper stickers are original and did not want to damage them, fog lights will be taken off before shipment. I deal with allot of rare cars, I will not take the time to start it properly, as if you know these old cars like I do, you need to take out the spark plugs-take off the carburetor then pour Marvel oil down the intake and turn the crank with a ratchet. Then the valve covers should come off to soak the valve seals. This is common knowledge and should be done by the next owner. Also everybody forgets-these are high compression engines, they had pump gas in 67 that had higher octanes and lead-they need octane boost and simulated lead added to the gas to keep them alive. Yes, it has low original miles, no faded paint, no pitted chrome, no rust-stored in a cool dry place with no mice. Hagerty, NADA or Old Car Buyers Guide doesn't even have a clear way or category to value this car as it is not restored, low miles and no modifications or upgrades-still has factory tires, wheels and hub caps. It has a unique value and will bring a high price. Any Questions, call Bob at 530-209-2897 On Mar-19-20 at 12:07:18 PDT, seller added the following information:Thanks to the Camero experts for telling me about the firewall tag, I have added it to my picturesOn Mar-20-20 at 10:04:58 PDT, seller added the following information:Many experts have commented about the RS grill is not correct on this car, I took a clear picture of the firewall plaque at the request of may collectors and it does not have the proper code. I went back to the owner, that I am selling it for, who bought it new and he says it was not wrecked or had a grille change. He is 85 years old, a great guy and I don't think he is Lying-he has no reason to. I tried to change the title on the auction-and Ebay won't let me. I have to agree with all the collectors and Camero enthusiasts, that this is a BASE car, with low miles and in unbelievable condition. It still has good value as it is so clean. If a buyer wants to make it correct, they can go back to the base grille and they could sell the RS parts for a high price on Ebay. Sorry for the confusion-I wished I could change the auction, but Ebay locks you out once there has been bids, your welcome to call me, Bob at 530-209-2897, or come out or send someone to look it over.On Mar-26-20 at 17:29:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I am selling this car for an elderly gentlemen that could be showing the early stages of Alzheimer's and he cannot find the pink slip. I have numerous years of old registration and this car has left the DMV computer records in California in the early 1990's. It was last registered in Ca. DMV in 1988 and we have a 'LOST PINK SLIP FORM' signed by him. We have even had a county agency lady go to his home and try to find it. You can do a VIN number search and you will see it last registered in Red Bluff, Ca. to the same person I am selling it for. It is sometimes better not to have the pink slip to avoid past fees, and use a lost pink form from you state to go on title. Most experienced collectors will agree with me, it an easier way to go on title.
