| For sale: unique hearse/ funeral van. After doubting for awhile, I decided to offer this car for sale. Building this car turned out to be my goal and now it has been standing still for some time without getting the deserved attention. The car: A 1976 Volkswagen T2b, sold as a combi from the factory. Now converted with unique features, such as large windows, a storage drawer instead of a sliding door and a professional floor with high quality guides and box support. - The car has been stripped and the frame has been sandblasted, then provided with new sheet metal all around: front, sides are new, existing chrome work has been renewed and bumpers with extra rubber bumper. The bus is painted in 2 colors, both Rolls Royce blue colors - Front axle, all parts blasted and painted and equipped with new knuckles, bearings, brake parts (everything is new) - Rear axle / gearbox, the box has been professionally overhauled, axles with new CV joints, rubbers and bearings, the drums and other braking equipment are all new. - Wheels and tires, blasted and powder coated, new tires and original VW new high quality wheel covers. - Engine 1600 double-port air-cooled, crankcase blasted, cleaned and overhauled and rebuilt with new parts, with external oil filter. All sheet metal powder coated in satin black - Interior cabin, seats upholstered, the rest is in a perfect original state, and where necessary built with new materials: such as the safety belts, kick board and floor mats are new. - Electricity, everything checked and renewed where necessary: flashing light, headlights and rear light units new - Radio with USB connection and new speakers - Back space: provided by a reputable company with the right material floor covering with heavy rollers and box security, of course, can be set on every box size. The floor is easy to clean and scratch resistant. There is a custom leather mat available to slide the box into this space without damage. All panels around this space are made of aluminium-sprayed sheet metal. Warm LED lighting in the sky and automatic spotlights in the tailgate ensure the correct lighting. Adjusted and reinforced window frames with custom windows along the entire length make this car extra special. - On the right side of the car, the sliding door has been replaced by a specially tailored flap to gain access to the space under the loading floor. - Here a large box is placed on industrial guide rails, in which a new scissor trolley is placed. - 2 flags are placed on the front, with cover. - Hand-painted lines with logo complete the bus - The bus comes with the website Anubus.nl? | |
