1934 CABRIOLET Believe It Or Not, in Outward Appearance, This Car is Exactly as Henry Ford intended The Craftsmen at Steve’s Auto Restorations Improved the Safety, Performance and Comfort beyond Henry’s wildest dreams 1934 Ford Cabriolet rebuilt at SAR Steve's Auto Restorations,. The car was stripped down and sent off to the “dipper” for stripping of paint, primer, bondo, glue, and gunk. What we got back was a lot of bad original sheet metal and 1940’s backyard bodywork. So the old girl got a lot of new SAR sheet metal such as, new floor, new firewall, new door skins, new Roadster (converted) 1/4 panels, new inner and outer below trunk lid panels, all 4 new fenders, running boards, and a new trunk lid. New parts are not nearly as expensive as saving cobbled up rusty original sheet metal. A Pete & Jakes frame was the next step with a Ford Roush 327 aluminum block 350 HP crate motor, automatic transmission, Kugel’s IFS and IRS, and stainless steel exhaust. A David Brost designed interior was stitched up by Paul Reichlin all in leather-trimmed with wood-grained garnish and dash. A vintage heater was cherry-picked out of Steve’s heater. Additional information about the build on this perfect car can be found on the Steve's Auto Restoraton web site. Dan 949-212-6240 |
