This 1950 Power Wagon is evident that quite a bit of time and money was invested in the restoration.The burly, utilitarian look is a big part of the Power Wagon's appeal, and it didn't evolve much from 1946 to 1967, when it was finally redesigned. The separate fenders, free-standing headlights, and a bumper (featuring a giant Braden winch) that looks like it could push over a prison wall are main features that make this the manliest truck ever built. The bed was still wood in 1950, and this one has been fit and finished to such a high standard that you'll make your fellow tailgaters clean off their gear before they throw it in the back. This stunning Power Wagon was an original Colorado truck that was utilized in the Forestry Service. It was shipped out and completely stripped out and sand blasted. The powerplant was ditched for a Cummins Diesel engine. Beautiful White Oak wood panels cover the back bed, and high-back seats were retro-fitted and installed for a more cushioned ride. The truck retains its original transfer case. The wheel and tire setup are from a World War II Deuce (20") and a Half cargo truck and were machined with a 5-lug bolt pattern.
